I suggest rebuilding your account indexes in Quicken 2007 before copying the file to the new computer and importing it. If it's possible for you keep your old computer temporarily after you get the new one, it can make it easier to compare Quicken 2007 on the old computer with modern Quicken Mac on the new computer to make sure your account balances and holdings are all correct. (The hardest step may be purchasing Quicken, since it's typically sold only in the US and Canada you may have to enter a fake US address during the purchase process!) It should all be straightforward: buy Quicken, install it, allow it to import your Quicken 2007 data file, and you should be up and running.
